Twenty Two Productions is the creative studio of director and editor Mike Debbie

Mike’s storytelling has shaped feature films, commercials, TV series, branded content, and sports media for clients like Vice Media, the New York Giants, Steven Soderbergh, Nintendo, Discovery Channel, NBC, BBC America, Microsoft, and Geico.

Founded in 2006, Twenty Two began with an exclusive collaboration with the New York Giants, documenting their season from inside the locker room to the sidelines—including their legendary run to Super Bowl XLII, toppling the undefeated Patriots in one of the most memorable upsets in NFL history.

From there, Mike became a core member of opticnerve™ in Brooklyn, wearing many hats—editor, camera op, and all-around production Swiss Army knife—on commercial, corporate, and long-form projects. That journey culminated in Visitors, a feature-length film by visionary director Godfrey Reggio, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival with live orchestral accompaniment.

In 2014, Mike joined Vice during its explosive growth, cutting branded campaigns across nearly every vertical, and helping launch the Viceland cable network. He went on to edit episodes of series like Balls Deep, Fuck, That’s Delicious, and King of the Road, blending bold aesthetics with raw, human stories.

Today, Mike continues to offer full-service production and post for clients who care about getting it right—and making it look damn good.

This is where I humble brag about receiving a Super Bowl ring for my tiny contribution to the Giants’ triumphant win.
